Hello there lovely soul. Finally getting back the drive to blog. This would have been a post with pictures and updates on the past month except my Nexus decided to be an ass and refuses to make the task of transferring pictures to the computer easy. Spent an hour trying to get the pictures saved last night but nothing happened except me getting fed up, cursing left and right. Don't get me wrong though, I still very much love my phone - it has been a crucial source of entertainment and my sole means of communicating with my tight group of friends, but it is as useless as a piece of junk when it comes to this aspect. More on that later ( or never…)
Anywhoo, I have been working hard as cow lately, juggling both tuition and Starbucks. So much so that I'm only left with Sunday to myself and even so, Sunday mornings are now Yoga mornings. Not much of a rest day I would say.
Oh and payday came unexpectedly last month. The first was half a month worth of tuition pay and it was aid relief, like rain after months of drought. Then came Starbucks pay and for the first time in months, I could let myself go and lead a somewhat lavish life. By lavish I mean squandering all $500++ of my combined pay on things I can't even recall. I'm thinking my two trips to the bar and dining out every other day has a lot to do with my thinning wallet. Not forgetting the merciless adult fares that I've been paying for the past month since the parents heartlessly decided to cut on my allowance. Nonetheless, happy to be a spendthrift of sorts, and happy to be a little more independent despite the holes in my pocket being a huge price to pay. Happiest of all though, is to finally be able to ask friends out and have a good time with little thoughts on money issues ( now you probably get how I squandered my pay so quickly…)
Oh and recently bought a burgundy sweater from Topshop otherwise my current wardrobe love.I've worn it 4times in 2weeks and I'm still terribly aching to wear it out.
You'll know how much I love this piece if you know how easily I perspire and how horrible Singapore's weather is.
Oh and if anyone's wondering why I managed to upload a picture, I'm actually blogging from my phone so I skip across the whole tedious upload-pics-to-comp part but obviously this can't be done if I were to do a proper post with lots of overdued pictures. But because I'm obstinate as hell and insist things go my way, I'll figure a way. Till then, tata.
