Moving on, since it was a weekday, there weren't alot of people and our longest wait was 45mins for Riptide Rocket - 'SEA's first hydro magnetic coaster'. It sure was one hell of a ride with seemingly boundless turns , plunges and incessant screaming - even the muscular 6pack guys ahead of us!! I was constantly fearing that I would get swung out and get stuck in the trees or have my head ripped off from the bumpy ride, so I guess it's pretty intense and fun a ride, that definitely lived up to its name as a star attraction and worthy of the wait.
Aside for that, the snorkelling pool's (otherwise the Rainbow Reef) also worth mentioning since we don't usually get to snorkel. It's an entitlement with purchase of the park ticket, as opposed to the Ray Bay (extra 20bucks or so to feed stingrays...no thankyou). Snorkelling was a fun experience, though it would probably be better if we were given instructions on how to use the snorkelling gear so we at least know how to breathe! Jt and I got choked on the salty waters countless times, and my throat burned so bad from it. But of course, it got smoother towards the end as we started getting the hang of it, but well, it was the end and we didn't have time for a second go. Didn't exactly see many fishes since we had lifevests on, so we were mostly floating atop the water, and most of the fishes were schooling at deeper regions of the pool. Oh, and initially I envisioned the snorkelling experience as us being in the free waters, seeing that Sentosa is surrounded by the sea. Unfortunately , we were only swimming in a man-made pool that took us less than 15mins for a complete round.
Meals wise, Jt and I sneakily brought picnic food ( apples, tuna bread, Pocky and etc.) and lounged at our secret hideout - a surprisingly quiet and mysterious cave, that looked upon the park. Despite the comfort - there were beanbags and fans everywhere with literally nobody else around, we had to be careful of ants that lost no time getting to our bread crumbs and also duck from occasional security guards patrolling since outside food's prohibited.
We rented the locker for $10 and kept our stuff there, so we didn't manage to take alot of pictures of how the park looked since I only had my phone with me during our little tea break, but I suppose the theme was stone age and it reminded me of The Mummy. I especially loved this cave region we went through during our lazy river ride.
Also, we went by the Ray Bay during the lazy river ride and saw hugeass stingrays through the glass windows, which Jt commented were so 'white and fleshy' - we couldn't stop thinking of the sizzling sambal stingrays we usually eat!
Towards the end of the day we finally made it to Splashworks - a section with 4.0m deep pool and rope challenges that would make you feel like a ninja. Because I'm not an aspiring ninja and more of an acrophobe, aside for the balancing beam and cliff jump, I gave the rest a miss. Cliff jumping was dangerous fun. I felt like I was drowning for the first time in my life cos I ran out of breath sinking to not even the bottom of the pool, and had to kick super hard to get myself out of water - which felt like another long journey cos I used all my air when sinking! And why? Because I forgot that I wasn't wearing a lifevest so I didn't get up with god speed like what people would usually do! ( I did jetty jump before with lifevest on so I wasn't prepared to sink so badly!)

So yupp, that pretty much sums up our outing. Though one hint of advice, it's probably wiser to go down at an earlier timing cos we didn't manage to take the Dueling Racer or complete some parts of the Splashworks. Of course, the acrophobic me didn't mind missing out on the latter, but I think jt was a little bummed out. But anywhoo, it would have been great if we had more time to take repeated rides! And even better if it didn't start raining heavily just as we arrived and got changed for the rides, but then again, PMS weather isn't new to Lion City.
PS. As I'm ending this post, I got a call to start work next Monday! Psyched for finally getting something to do - I've applied for this job since a month ago and I was supposed to start on the 8th or 15th of April but it got delayed till now. Life of the unemployed is seriously mundane as can be and it sucks so bad to see everyone around you working cos it means you hardly manage to find people to go out with! Okay bye for now, I'll be back soon with my A level + university stuff, and also food posts!
