Hair

Hello humans, I'm here at such an ungodly hour just to talk about my hair!

Sooooo , a couple months back I finally dyed my hair for the first time in my life and I have to say, I really loved the result. So happy it turned out well and surprisingly, dyeing didn't ruin my hair's quality . Nope, my hair didn't (and still doesn't) feel like a bundle of dried hay. For those that asked, I actually got my hair done at a neighbourhood salon recommended by Jacinth, and it cost me $90 + $50 for the treatment.

(Took this 2months ago?)

But anywhoo, because it was prolly around Feb when I got my hair done at the salon, I've been pretty sick of my faded hair color lately - though it's still a nice shade of reddish brown/copper, so I decided to self dye at home yesterday.

The dye was something I bought from chloechoox.bs in Jan (maybe?) when I was really crazy over her hair color and I remember it took me super a lot of effort to secure this very bottle of dye because it was the first batch she was selling and qy was updating me on how it's selling like hot cakes and stuff. I was so happy when I returned home to see the package lying on my dining table, some 2weeks after purchasing it online. Okay now that I'm thinking, I think this self dyeing in Jan was the first time I dyed my hair so the salon was really the second attempt. Never mind about such nitty gritty details.

Back to the topic, I was thrilled to receive my dye but alas, when I finally got to using it, my stupidly black Asian hair wouldn't be dyed for nuts. When I washed it out the first time and saw the disappointing result, I waited for my hair to dry and dyed again immediately but I prolly used too little dye for my hair length ( i still had a good half bottle despite supposedly 'dyeing' it twice) so I gave up and went to the salon instead. Anddd, the bottle has been lying atop my house's washing machine ever since. Well, at least till last night.

So I went ahead with my impulse to dye , thinking that it'll probably not work but like hey, why not try since the bottle has been lying there since almost half a year ago? And, surprise , surprise! This time round it actually worked and I woke up with a super red/fuschia head this morning. I actually tweeted that I don't like this color as much as I did before (after dyeing it last night) and I still think so because it seems a shade too dark for my complexion but I'm thrilled that it turned out pretty well (at least got color + managed to add some life back to my fading red hair )

12/7 PS. This is a really random post since I've always blogged about my deep thoughts and etc. , but I'm actually hoping for more of such posts since a blog is really an online diary which means I should be talking about daily life stories and filling this space with nitty gritty details. Prolly gonna be blogging on a more regular basis because 1) I quitted my job, 2) I'm getting a Macbook (better technology = increase in productivity, this much of Econs I still remember) . Till then , :)
